It all started in 1985, when Lucien Farley began making keys in his spare time.  His son, Royal Farley, soon developed an interest for locksmithing.  Royal decided to pursue a career as a locksmith and took a training course in 1989-1990.  He started his business by answering service calls with his personal vehicle, a Toyota 4Runner.  Not very practical or comfortable when it's cold or raining.

As demand increased, Royal Farley realized it was time to get a more appropriate van dedicated to locksmithing.  Over the years, he broadens his knowledge and expertise to related fields: safes, panic bars, electronic locks, access systems, and much more.

In 2005, Royal concluded that providing separate premises from paint for locksmithing would better serve his customers.  For the past four years, Royal Farley has been working with Eric Turpin, a qualified locksmith, to better meet the market demand in Outaouais.  They are both members of the Association des Maîtres Serruriers du Québec and are registered with Bureau de la sécurité privée du Québec.
